Somehow the remodel made a poorly designed airport even worse. You can't get in or out without running into people coming in or out. At least the parking is still free. The layout of the remodel sucks, way too small. Changes totally unnecessary aside from meeting some bogus security requirements. Once again our tax dollars being wasted by government. It's got a vending machine with sodas and stuff. Smallest airport I've ever been in, but still a nice place. The lady from airport security was gonna take my sister's recently lost tooth from her. This airport is extra special and has their own special policy that states that you have to be checked in and have your bags behind the counter 40min before your flight leaves. If you book a flight at 8:15am here, you need to show up to the airport at 6am when they open. Otherwise if you show up at 6:30am the line will be too long and you will not be able to check any bags thus forcing you to get another flight and do a $160 change fee. The funny thing is, this whole problem could be solved if they had one extra person working the ticket counter. It's basically a viscous circle. Where else can you pick the salmon you want the chef to cook right out of the water?
