Dr. Vainio is an arrogant, petulant doctor who does not want to be questioned. He was filling in at my clinic after my doctor had left when PeaceHealth took over. When I questioned the need for a test (I didn't have health insurance at the time) he first said it was required by law, (which I knew wasn't true), then that it was clinic policy, then said it was a recommended guideline by someone. We had an argument that got so heated that I decided to stop just to let him calm down. when I told him I wanted to talk some more, he said "I don't feel comfortable doing that" and refused. A week later, I got a letter saying I was "dismissed" from the clinic and he was not my doctor anymore. I have been going to that clinic for over 10 years, and I've met him twice and he tells me I can't go back. I am contacting PeaceHealth to see what they have to say about it, but no matter, I will not be seeing him again!
