Decent beer. The biggest plus is that it is a relaxed place to hang out. Kodiak weather can be a drag, and its nice to have somewhere to get out of the house. The place and people are awesome. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The drinks (even for a scotch drinker) are smooth and refreshing. Anyone in or going to Kodiak has to go there. They are friendly and helpful. Always willing to chat. A fun place to meet up with friends and catch up. And it's dog friendly! Amazing place. Great atmosphere with wood fireplace, art on the walls, and dogs just enjoying themselves. Great selection of microbrews depending on the season. Bartenders are friendly and happy to answer any questions you have as a visitor. Fantastic setting. Very inviting and people bring their dogs. Great venue. Beers are good. Some have a similar aftertaste. The occasional beer is fantastic. They gave me a awesome brewery tour one day. They treat their customers great.
