A fun place to explore Kodiak's history. I love the shifting exhibits and the great activities and lectures that are hosted at the museum. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Kodiak. Amazing, beautiful, staff was incredibly knowledgeable and even turned out to be a distant relative! Go there. The Baranov Museum is a beloved community treasure filled with the stories that makes Kodiak home. Great collection, but the director is hateful. Totally ruins the experience.
