Went out on the Lana J with a group of 7. Captain (Yung) put us on some decent sized halibut and lingcod, as well as limited us out on rockfish in a matter of minutes. Great trip. Captain was very helpful and informative. When the bite never happened on herring, he swapped us over quickly to jig fishing, and we had good success with the 30-60 lb halibut, as well as the lingcod. Will use them again, if I make it back to Kodiak during warm weather.
