The house we stayed at was very nice, and clean. Very nice neighbors and neighborhood. I highly recommend staying with the cranky crow crew! Awesome experience We got no breakfast and the "military" rate was higher than the advertised web site rate. No sheets or cleaning for two weeks. INCREDIBLY noisy. You can hear every footstep, conversations and TV from the family upstairs. No view. You are staying in someone's basement. They built a wall with a door to segregate part of the upstairs to get another bedroom to rent. That room has the laundry outside the door but you can only do one load a week. Way to take advantage of the military by upping your rates to exactly the per diem rate. Find ANYWHERE else. A great b&b run by awesome and knowledgeable folks. Located in a quiet part of town. Would stay here again and again! I absolutely LOVED this bed and breakfast!! Stephanie and her husband are so kind and helpful!! It was a great place to stay and meet fellow travelers :))) I highly recommend Cranky Crow to anyone traveling to Kodiak!! Friendly hosts, clean, comfortable bed.
