We stayed here in September 2017 for 4 days. We saw bears and made new friends, both other guests (for an Aussie couple this was their third trip) and members of the staff. Ed the manager is a great person to meet - his enthusiasm about the Centre, the wildlife round about and especially the facilities he has created is completely infectious. He is right to be proud of what he has achieved in such a remote spot. Jen is a fantastic, very knowledgeable guide, with a great manner, and who achieved the right balance between ensuring we got close enough to bears to enjoy the experience but not to endanger our lives! Kayaking one day on the lake to get to see bears was a real highlight. The float plane rides to and from the centre are a real treat. The accommodation itself is really fantastically comfortable and we recommend the centre unreservedly. Would we go back? YES!
